Evian Masters Junior Cup 2010 - India

The Indian Golf Union is responsible for the promotion and development of golf in India. Starting with only six golf clubs at the beginning, it boasts of 196 golf courses today and many more at various levels of construction and under planning. The objective for which the Union was established was mainly to promote the game of golf in India and the maintenance of high standards of the game.

The coaching is divided in two parts. The first one for excellence and the second one for grass root level. The junior tour consists of ten tournaments out of which five tournaments are mandatory for the juniors to participate in. These five and any two gain them points on the merit list.
